The Most Expensive House: Antilia

House was always one of three human necessities that are essential. However simple roof over the head isn’t enough anymore. House over the year became the symbol of power and influence on other, although everybody acknowledges, not everybody strives for it. However somebody apparently put a lot of time and effort into the house I’m going to introduce to you. Recognized as most expensive house in the world is called Antilia.

The price of Antilia is $1,000,000,000.

Building location: South Mumbai,  building is situated on an ocean-facing 4,532 square metres (48,780 sq ft) plot at Altamount Road, Cumballa Hill.

Owner: businessman Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries.

Some shocking features:  to maintain the residence a full-time staff of 600 is required; building has parking space for 168 cars; 400,000 square feet (37,000 m2) of living space; a one-floor vehicle maintenance facility; nine elevators in the lobby;  three helipads and an air traffic control facility;  health spa, yoga studio, small theatre with a seating capacity for 50 on the eighth floor,  there is a swimming pool, three floors of hanging gardens, and a ballroom;  custom hand carved rare marble pillars and stonework; worlds largest collection of antique sewing machines.

Fun fact: currently the most expensive building in the world is The Shard, London, building costs $3,900,000,000 .
